SERVICES

This website is dedicated to the JROTC cadets, Battalion staff, and their parents for news and information.

The mission of JROTC is to motivate young people to be better citizens. To do that, JROTC provides an opportunity for students to grow and develop. Leadership is taught throughout the course while developing discipline and confidence. JROTC helps develop patriotism and a value for community service by practicing military traditions and volunteering in our local community. JROTC cadets become disciplined, confident, patriotic, and active leaders in their community. JROTC turns ordinary students into outstanding citizens.

Junior ROTC is an elective class open to all students, grades 9-12.

Students do not have to take a JROTC class every school year.

The focus of the course for each level is on developing leadership and management skills that will help students in all phases of their school careers and lives.

There is absolutely NO military obligation or military recruiting as part of the class. All uniforms and equipment are provided free of charge by the school and the Army. Students wear the Army uniform once a week.

Please stop by for a visit, email or call should you have any questions, or just want to visit to see if you might be interested in taking the class.

We look forward to having you join the Hillers Battalion!
